Job Description

Location: 46 Sinclair Blvd, Brantford, ON N3S 7Y1, Canada. We are moving to 100 Newman St, Ingersoll, ON N5C 3J8, Canada. The target start date in Ingersoll is October 1, 2025, with 4-6 weeks of training in Brantford.

Position: Supervisor, Production

The primary function is to supervise and direct the production of quality brake linings by optimizing production equipment and team members. The role involves managing operations, ensuring product quality, and achieving production schedules.

Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

Compensation Range: $58,000 – $68,000, paid weekly every Friday

• Provide leadership in resolving technical and production issues to meet weekly schedules.
• Supervise approximately 35 production operators.
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are met.
• Oversee maintenance activities necessary for machine operation.
• Train machine operators on procedures, problem-solving, quality, and safety.
• Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Perform modifications on trial and prototype brake lining equipment.
• Set up operations for all part numbers and verify quality through dimensional and process testing.
• Maintain daily production and quality reports for corporate communication.
• Maintain inventory of essential tools and materials.

Qualifications:

• Experience with machine reliability and maintenance management.
• Leadership skills in managing maintenance activities.
• Experience in plant preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical devices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of operating experience on mechanical assembly equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and process control is a plus.
