Production Supervisor

Job Summary

A well-established garment manufacturer is seeking (3) experienced Production Supervisors to oversee production teams of 30+ sewing operators. The ideal candidates will be hands‑on leaders with strong communication skills and have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience working with garment manufacturing/winter apparel is considered a strong asset. Supervisors will be responsible for guiding daily operations, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Job Type

Full‑time, permanent.

Job Location

Markham, ON

Shift Structure

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day Shift)
Overtime paid beyond 40 hours per week.

Compensation Structure

Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (higher compensation may be offered for candidates with strong relevant experience).
Overtime compensated after 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and support a team of 30+ sewing machine operators.
• Work hands‑on with operators to troubleshoot sewing and production issues.
• Ensure high‑quality standards, production efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate daily production schedules and monitor output to meet deadlines.
• Train and mentor sewing staff on sewing techniques, quality expectations, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse workforce to ensure clarity of instructions.
• Identify and resolve workflow, technical, or equipment challenges.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
