Overview

Our client is seeking a Production Operative to join their production team. Location: Farnham
Salary: £27,300 p/a
Hours: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00 (8‑hour shifts with a 30‑minute unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the fermentation and formulation teams to manufacture products within established company standards.
  • Measure and prepare ingredients according to precise specifications.
  • Support the brewing process to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Conduct quality checks on products and production processes.
  • Carry out regular fermentation checks, including temperature, pH, and pressure readings.
  • Work as part of a well‑organised team, taking the lead where appropriate.
  • Maintain a sterile, clean, and compliant production environment at all times.
  • Follow and uphold health and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to strict sterile‑room rules, including no makeup, no nail extensions or polish, no jewellery, no perfume, and correct use of protective clothing.
  • Complete general production duties as required.
Skills, Experience and Training Requirements
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Experience with fermentation or brewing processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to think ahead and work proactively.
  • Strong team player with a positive, hands‑on approach.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for the full shift.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to remote site location.
  • Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working within compliance‑led environments.
  • Basic computer literacy, ideally including Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to follow strict sterile‑environment requirements daily.
