A leading food production company in Manitoba is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the operation of the Kill floor. You will manage a large workforce, implement modern manufacturing techniques, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a similar environment, preferably with an engineering background. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Kill floor of our facility which would involve supervising and directing a workforce of 14 salaried, and approximately 500 hourly employees. The incumbent would develop and implement modern manufacturing techniques and would provide strategic direction and champion continuous improvement for the departments within the Kill area of the facility.
