  • Conduct freight negotiations related to raw materials and finished goods
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and monitor supply chain needs
  • Track procurement costs and actively pursue cost-saving opportunities
Facility & Equipment Management
  • Oversee general facility management, including vendor coordination and maintenance scheduling
  • Support lease negotiations or building improvement plans as required
  • Schedule and manage contract work on an as-needed basis
  • Coordinate CAPEX planning, including ROI analysis and justification for new or retooled processes
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Support HR in implementing new policies and procedures at the facility level
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to provide support and align production goals
  • Maintain clear visibility into overheads and cost structures, supporting company-wide financial goals
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the production team
Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of production processes, inventory control, and logistics
  • Demonstrated experience with raw material sourcing and vendor negotiations
  • Knowledge of CAPEX planning, ROI analysis, and facility management
  • Experience leading safety programs and in-house training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic inventory or ERP software systems
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of environmental or industrial products is a strong asset
