The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, owning how VoPay products are positioned, launched, enabled, and adopted in the market.
You’ll combine market insights with strong storytelling to shape go-to-market strategies, enable revenue teams, and ensure our products resonate with target customers in a fast-evolving fintech landscape. This is a highly cross‑functional role with visibility across the full product lifecycle—from strategy and launch to adoption and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market (GTM) & Product Strategy
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products, features, and enhancements.
- Define and refine product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions by customer segment and use case.
- Partner closely with Product Management and Sales leadership to align GTM strategy with roadmap priorities and revenue goals.
- Support pricing and packaging discussions by providing market insights, competitive context, and customer feedback.
- Define and track product marketing KPIs to measure launch success, adoption, and impact.
Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Create and maintain sales enablement materials including product decks, one‑pagers, demo scripts, ICPs, buyer personas, and use‑case narratives.
- Deliver internal product training to Sales, Customer Success, and partners to ensure readiness for launches and updates.
- Act as a strategic bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
- Gather field feedback from Sales and CS to continuously improve positioning, objection handling, and product narratives.
Product Launches & Market Adoption
- Own product launch planning and execution, including messaging, timelines, cross‑functional coordination, and success metrics.
- Support launch campaigns with product‑focused content such as webinars, blogs, customer announcements, and enablement materials.
- Analyze post‑launch performance and adoption trends, sharing insights and recommendations with key stakeholders.
- Support initiatives that drive ongoing product adoption, expansion, and upsell opportunities.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and maintain competitive battle cards, product comparisons, and win/loss insights.
- Monitor payments, fintech, and embedded finance trends and recommend adjustments to positioning and messaging.
- Benchmark industry best practices and apply insights to improve product differentiation and GTM effectiveness.
Product Communications & Content Collaboration
- Own and execute product newsletters focused on product updates, feature releases, and adoption messaging.
- Lead customer‑facing product communications, including product announcements, release updates, and feature highlights.
- Partner with Marketing and Content teams to define product messaging, structure, and value propositions for product webpages.
- Provide narratives, use cases, and scripts for product videos and tutorials, collaborating with Creative teams on production.
- Support the creation of customer testimonials, case studies, and product stories to reinforce product value and credibility.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related role (fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and sales enablement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Comfortable presenting product concepts, messaging, and enablement materials to internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
