Description :

We are currently looking for a Product Developer / Buyer Assistant to join our Footwear and Handbag team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Footwear and Handbags, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating with suppliers, coordinating sample requests, negotiating costs, and tracking production progress
  • Maintaining and updating internal systems, data entry, and purchase order creation
  • Managing product data, samples, and technical packs
  • Attending fit sessions and collaborating with teams on product approval
  • Assisting in preparing for sign-offs, product and buying meetings, and trade events
  • Monitoring sales performance and assisting in making data-driven decisions
  • Conducting trend, market, and competitor research to inform product development
  • Supporting additional projects and tasks as needed

What you'll need :

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related role
  • Knowledge and experience in footwear and handbags is a plus
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and PLM software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
