Overview

CityNews Vancouver is looking for a Full-Time News Producer to join our dynamic team. This role will lead the production of our prime-time news specials and contribute to various aspects of daily news production on our streaming service and traditional newscasts. The position may require evening and weekend shifts.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage the production of news specials from concept to broadcast
  • Vet and finalize all production elements (fonts, graphics, outcues, etc.)
  • Collaborate with teams across the country to support local and national coverage
  • Line up and produce newscasts as needed
  • Assign and vet news stories when required
