Tasks
- Provides procurement services for the creation and award of contracts. This includes recommending or awarding TBIPS, SBIPS, and/or TSPS contracts within delegated authority, and supporting more complex and higher value files. Review procurement, contractual, and resource management documentation to support requirements.
- Provides advice and guidance to clients on medium to high complexity files. Advise management and stakeholders on procurement policies, and recommend best practices.
- Provides resource management support. Support day-to-day resource administration, including liaising with contractor representatives.
- Provides financial administrative support for resource management activities. Prepare reports for budget management, review budgets for labour and travel, process claims and invoices.
- Provides solutions and problem-solving for complex cases. As a procurement expert, find creative solutions to meet procurement objectives.
Mandatory:
- M1: The resource must have at least four (4) years of recent procurement and contracting experience within the last five (5) years in a Government of Canada environment, in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.
- M2: The resource must have six (6) years of experience within the last 10 years with Government of Canada contracting processes, and current knowledge of these processes, including methods for procurement both inside and outside of delegation authority.
