Location: Stratford, ON

Salary: $24.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Evening

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Overview

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
• Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs
• Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
• Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables

Qualifications

Forklift Operator Certification

Experience and specialization:

Equipment and machinery experience: Brakes, Lifting device, Overhead crane, Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Forming
