Yorktown Search Partners has been retained to identify and recruit a President & Chief Executive Officer for a Canadian public company in the resource and development sector. This is a rare opportunity to lead a platform positioned for transformational growth through strategic acquisitions, financings, and corporate development.

Overview

President & Chief Executive Officer - Confidential Search

The CEO will be responsible for setting strategy, executing on growth initiatives, and leading all capital markets activity. A proven background in structuring and completing RTOs (reverse takeovers), financings, and market transactions is essential. The individual will also serve as the company's principal representative to investors, analysts, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute strategic growth, including RTOs, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Drive capital markets engagement: financings, roadshows, investor presentations, and analyst coverage.
  • Manage all aspects of regulatory disclosure, governance, and exchange compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, bankers, and advisory networks.
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-caliber executive and technical team.
  • Articulate and deliver a compelling equity story to maximize shareholder value.
Candidate Profile
  • Senior leadership experience (CEO, President, CFO, or equivalent) with a publicly listed company.
