Job Description

The Preschool Teacher, under the supervision of the principal, is responsible for creating a dual-language immersion (Spanish) classroom environment that ensures learning and personal growth for every student. The teacher will motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a smooth transition into Kindergarten.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Teaching in the 4-year-old classroom
  • Collaborating with education assistants, kindergarten teachers, and other specialists from the special education department
  • Attending staff development sessions, including sessions with mentors and coaches
  • Communicating with parents
  • Recording observations related to TS Gold assessment tool
