THE ROLE

Canadian Linen is looking for a Plant Janitor to join our team as a full-time employee.

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Availability to work the assigned shift; regular attendance is mandatory.
  • Ability to lift up to 20-40 pounds continuously.
  • Capability to stand, walk, or sit for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with potentially fluctuating temperatures.
  • Adherence to safety standards is required.
  • Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of work instructions in English is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Clean offices, common areas, washrooms, halls, and other necessary areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks including desks, ceilings, vents, walls, blinds, kitchenettes, microwaves, furniture, windows, floors, carpets, and production equipment.
  • Dust, mop, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies.
  • Empty trash and garbage containers.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Must be available to work evenings.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Efficiently and safely perform duties in the assigned production area.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
