Plant & Instrumentation Technician – 24/7 Shift | 22% Shift Uplift | Join a Leading Edge in Clean Technology

Shift Pattern: 24/7 Support Uplift Across All Shifts

Contract Type: [Full-Time / Permanent / Fixed-Term]

About the Role:

In this hands-on, technically challenging role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and servicing of our fleet of emissions measurement equipment. You\'ll work closely with engineers to investigate and evaluate current and emerging emissions technologies in a high-spec laboratory environment.

From preventative maintenance and diagnostics to supporting live testing and making equipment modifications, every day will bring something new. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and service emissions measurement equipment
  • Conduct diagnostic investigations and provide first-line breakdown support
  • Assist engineers in technical investigations and process development
  • Perform TPM and routine maintenance on a wide range of emissions analysis tools
  • Modify test rigs and facility infrastructure when required
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot emissions measurement technologies
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Essential:

  • Experience in plant or instrumentation maintenance
  • Technical apprenticeship (electro-mechanical bias) or equivalent industry experience
  • Familiarity with gaseous and/or particulate measurement systems
  • Confident reading technical drawings and following complex instructions
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and Permanent Corrective Actions
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with strong team collaboration skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Horiba MEXA, Sierra, Cambustion, or AVL measurement instruments
  • Experience in engine test cell environments
  • Previous role in an engineering technician or support capacity
