Your Opportunity:

Please note that this Pharmacy Technician position is Monday to Friday only. Alberta Children's Hospital (ACH) is the largest public hospital for sick children in Alberta. ACH was built with family-centered care in mind and prides itself on engaging patients and families through a family-centered approach to care. ACH is a leader in pediatric and neonatal care and is a major referral center for pediatric malignancies and complex hematological treatments, including pediatric bone marrow transplants and Alberta’s only hospice for children (Rotary Flames House) located next door. Here at ACH, we offer a variety of Pharmacy Inpatient Services, including our Oncology Satellite Pharmacy, Day Medicine, Rotary Flames House, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) onsite and offsite, as well as at the Foothills Medical Center. Our Pharmacy Technicians work collaboratively with the healthcare team, performing moderately complex duties such as clinical support roles, full scope of practice, and responsibilities related to all aspects of drug distribution. Join our dedicated team of caring professionals and be part of a community that shares the vision of a healthier future for our children.

The position requires an organized and motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team, establishing positive rapport with healthcare professionals. Shift lengths are 4 hours Monday-Thursday and 7.75 hours on Friday. Shift patterns and rotation may be adjusted based on operational needs. Please apply with your resume and cover letter.
