Ottawa West Community Support – Personal Support Worker

Ottawa West Community Support is a community support agency that provides services to seniors living in their own homes in the west end of Ottawa. We are currently seeking qualified staff to visit seniors in their home and provide them with quality care and support, including all ADL's.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Support Worker providing community care, you will be an important part of your clients’ care team. You will be assisting with personal care and all ADL’s and some household tasks, including light housecleaning, companionship and meal preparation. Successful candidates will have the ability to travel from home-to-home.

Requirements

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or Equivalent
• Current CPR/FA certificate
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing environments
