Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience preferred.
  • RIBO License preferred.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.

We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor (Non-Standard Service) to join BrokerLink and work out of one of our Ontario offices from 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. EST, on a Permanent FT Basis.

What the Role Entails
  • Advise clients with high-risk profiles on personal insurance options, conducting needs assessments and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Service on-going client needs, answering inquiries, processing renewals, and conduct regular care calls to ensure continued satisfaction.
  • Write new business and retain existing clients by offering expert advice and building trusted relationships.
  • Quote new business through proactive outbound call initiatives, introductory letters, and walk-in consultations.
  • Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to negotiate policy terms and clarify guidelines for non-standard coverage.
  • Prepare accurate documentation for insurers, complete applications, issue insurance certificates, process policy changes, and review renewals.
  • Stay informed on underwriting rules, market trends, and carrier guidelines specific to non-standard insurance.
  • Actively participate in training initiatives and professional development.
  • Participate in community marketing initiatives to promote brand presence and trust.
  • Process Account Receivable activitiesand provide peer support as needed.
The Successful Candidate will have
