Under close supervision, is responsible for the administration and processing of development permits in accordance with the Land Use Bylaw. Issue business licenses in accordance with the License Bylaw, and special events permits. Provide support and mediation services, promptly respond to enquiries and complaints, and assist with special projects. Incumbent will ensure customer service standards of the Municipality are always met, whether interaction is on the phone or in person.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
As an employee of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the incumbent is responsible for understanding and actively participating in the RMWB’s health and safety management system, and complying with all policies, practices, and procedures. All employees must take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of themselves and others, as well as immediately report any concerns, near misses, incidents, and hazardous conditions to their supervisor.
