Position Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatrician to join a practice with supportive and collegial services in beautiful, friendly Williams Lake. You will enjoy a busy and exciting practice working with another pediatrician and alongside an excellent team of caring allied health professionals at the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre. Additionally, you will provide general acute, neonatal (34 weeks and above), ER and consultant work to patients and their families at Cariboo Memorial Hospital. A general pediatric background with an interest in developmental and behavioural pediatrics would be especially suitable. The CMH redevelopment project is well underway. By the end of 2026, we\'ll have an expanded emergency department with 23 treatment spaces, a medical-surgical inpatient unit with 36 beds, and a mental health unit featuring 8 single-occupancy rooms. As the project moves toward completion in 2029, enhancements across the hospital will include an upgraded maternity and women\'s health unit, expanded oncology and ambulatory care services, and a new academic space for the UBC Faculty of Medicine.
