About the Opportunity
Workday Time Tracking & Integration Support (70%)
- Supports and maintains Workday Time Tracking configuration design documentation, payroll data mappings, interface design and scheduling.
- Assists with testing of configuration(s) in a variety of environments with issues isolated and action plan for resolution documented, actioned and retested for production deployment in Time Tracking and related payroll environments
- Attends, supports and leads divisional business collaboration sessions to action project plan deliverables
- Ability to track, resolve and expedite outstanding issues to meet deliverable deadlines
- Leads ongoing report enhancements, business requests while collaborating with all stakeholders
- Assists with time clock portal maintenance along with business partners
- Assists in Workday Time Tracking training sessions and launch for end users
- Supports payroll upgrades and continuous process improvements related to implementations and related re-designs with advance complexity
Payroll and Compliance (30%)
- Assists in the maintenance and coverage for the complete bi-weekly payroll processing cycle for Canada, US and UK payrolls
- Assists in the review and balancing payroll test runs to internal payroll control logs and checklists as per the established schedules
- Assists in preparation of Inter-company payroll and benefits billings
- Assist with the preparation of payroll journal entries and ensure correct accounting classifications prior to ADP GLI uploads
- Supports the reconciling, preparing, obtaining approvals, posting all payroll related journal entries to SAP, reconciling to the GL and to the Workday/Payroll reports
- Assists in preparation and balancing of Yearend tax forms (Canada/US/UK)
- Supporting the team with payroll related investigations and problem resolutions
- Demonstrate a strong compliance-oriented mindset & help to build a strong compliance culture while ensuring adherence to the established audit controls
- Support payroll audits in Canada
- Other tasks as assigned
About You
- University Business Degree or equivalent.
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP)/Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) certification (National Payroll Institute NPI - previously Canadian Payroll Association CPA).
- Payroll experience in Multinational Companies (8 years plus).
- Recent experience in Canadian Payroll processes and the tax structure
- Awareness of all applicable payroll/financial standards, process documentation & training materials to ensure compliant execution of responsibilities.
- Recent experience with ADP WFN Canada, Workday system for HCM including Time Tracking an asset.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information related to payroll and HR activities.
- Attention to detail, accurate data entry skills.
- Proven analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in local/regional/global team environment and communicate effectively with both internal business partners of all levels & disciplines as well as external stakeholders such as auditors and tax authorities.
- Fluency in English language.
- Microsoft Project management skills
- SAP, Concur Travel and Expense system knowledge
- Advanced Excel
Salary Range
$100,000 - $110,000 /year
