Overview

Parts Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Parts Delivery -Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for transactions relating to delivering and receiving heavy duty truck parts to and from customers. This position also performs basic warehouse work to include receiving and organizing heavy duty truck parts, removing sold parts from stock, and processing orders for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Unpack received parts and stock / organize shelves, cores, supplies, and other items as necessary
• Pack parts for shipping. Generate pick tickets for orders to warehouse
• Load and / or unload trucks
• Deliver parts to local customers within the market and record sales / delivery information
• Inquire about customer needs as related to additional sales, services, etc.
• Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt
• Maintain routine maintenance on truck and keep truck clean inside and out, per company policy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of delivery driver / warehouse experience
• Heavy duty truck or automotive parts knowledge / experience
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Customer Service (professional, and a helpful attitude)
• Excellent communication (oral & written)
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; CDL is not required
• Ability to operate power industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, etc.)

Physical Requirements

• The work is active
• The associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts at a minimum of 25 lbs. up to in excess of 75 lbs. up to 10% of the time
• The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day : walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing

Work Environment

• While performing the primary duties of the job, the associate will be regularly exposed to typical inside and outside conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances

Pay base on experience $20.00-22.00
