Overview

Onsite role reported to the Vancouver PDC on a full-time basis. Location: Langley, British Columbia. General Motors of Canada Company is a world-class automotive parts distribution network serving GM dealerships and Delco distributors worldwide. The Vancouver PDC is seeking applicants to fill Warehouse Attendant positions. You will perform multiple hands-on warehousing tasks in a standardized, structured environment and be part of a team delivering outstanding results aligned with General Motors’ purpose and values.

Responsibilities

• Walk and/or transport automotive parts via carts.
• Reach, move, push, pull, and/or lift automotive parts with both arms.
• Bend and/or twist repetitively; grip and pinch with both hands; use various hand tools and a scanner.
• Work in a high-energy, safety-conscious environment and be comfortable working at heights.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and job development; follow policies and values.
• Adhere to English communication requirements for listening, understanding, and instruction.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications / Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day; able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform job duties.
• Availability to work up to 40 hours per week; shifts may vary (Day Shift 10:00am – 6:30pm; partial shifts possible).
• Knowledge of safety awareness, quality, and compliance; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs, work instructions, and policies.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.

Location & Schedule

Location: Langley, British Columbia. Shifts: Day Shift - 10:00am to 6:30pm (partial shifts may be scheduled). Hours: 32–24 hours/week (hours determined based on business needs and candidate availability). Wage: $29.90/hour.
