Job summary

A leading distributor of books and magazines is seeking an in-store merchandiser for their Renfrew location. The role involves 11.5 hours of work per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays, focusing on following planograms, ensuring merchandise displays are accurate, and maintaining organization in the work area. Successful candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Access to a smartphone and transportation is required if not living in Renfrew. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow planograms and ensure accurate merchandise displays.
• Implement promotional set-ups and signage timely.
• Re-order stock when appropriate.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
• Work under guidance from the Merchandising Supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

We have 1 opening in Renfrew, ON (11.5 hours/week on Wednesday & Thursday) for in-store book and magazine merchandiser. No deliveries required; training will be provided. If you are reliable and able to work independently this could be the job for you! You must have access to a smartphone, internet and have your own transportation, if not living in Renfrew.

Duties:

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate and appeasing
• Ensures promotional set-ups and proper signage are implemented within a timely manner to company standard
• Re-orders stock where appropriate
• Ensure your work area is kept tidy and organized
• Works under the guidance and takes direction from the Merchandising Supervisor
• Other duties as required
