Hiring Unit:

Facilities Management and Ancillary Services - Building Operations

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Trades Sector Supervisor, the incumbent performs painting related duties for buildings within their sector of the downtown campus

Responsibilities:
  • Following plans and specifications, the painter prepares and repairs surfaces to be painted or stained
  • Mixes dyes, paints and other substances
  • Paints, stains, dyes, and varnishes furniture, walls, ceilings, etc
  • Applies wallpaper and other materials
  • Repairs broken windows and works on engraving machine
Qualifications:

Must have competency card and safety card. English and French functional spoken.

Additional Details:
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Hours of Work: 38.75 hours/week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm
