This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Paid & Performance Marketing Lead in Canada.

We are seeking a highly experienced Paid & Performance Marketing Lead to take full ownership of paid acquisition and performance growth across multiple channels. This role is responsible for defining strategy, driving execution, and ensuring measurable ROI from paid media investments. You will lead agency partners, progressively bring execution in-house, and act as the single point of accountability for paid performance outcomes. Working cross-functionally with merchandising, creative, lifecycle, and sales teams, you will help build a scalable, data-driven growth engine. This is a high-impact, remote-first role offering true ownership over a critical revenue lever. The environment is fast-paced, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong emphasis on experimentation and continuous optimization.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end paid media strategy and performance across Google Ads and Meta platforms, ensuring alignment with revenue and efficiency targets.
  • Lead and manage external paid media agencies, setting clear KPIs, budgets, pacing, and performance expectations.
  • Develop and execute a roadmap to transition paid media capabilities from agency-led to in-house execution as the business scales.
  • Personally execute and optimize campaigns where appropriate, defining tools, processes, and documentation to support scalability.
  • Drive SKU-level and intent-based strategies in close collaboration with merchandising and inventory teams.
  • Lead creative direction for paid channels in partnership with internal teams, overseeing testing frameworks and performance reviews.
  • Expand into new paid channels through structured experimentation, defining hypotheses, success metrics, and scale decisions.
  • Own reporting, forecasting, attribution, and data integrity across all paid channels, delivering clear insights to leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure paid media supports broader growth initiatives, launches, and lifecycle strategies.
Requirements:
  • 5–8+ years of experience in paid and performance marketing with full ownership of results.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, including search, shopping, performance max, and paid social strategies.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling agency relationships with strong accountability frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and financial mindset with comfort owning revenue, efficiency, and contribution metrics.
  • Hands-on experience executing and optimizing campaigns in complex, high-consideration funnels.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience bringing paid media in-house, high-AOV ecommerce or B2B-adjacent products, Shopify-based environments, or equipment-driven industries.
