What you will do:
  • Promote and sell new products to meet branch sales objectives and achieve sales results
  • Maintain and build strong customer relationships while developing new potential customers by offering professional and effective solutions
  • Provide quotations, technical support, literature, and other materials for customers
  • Develop new business by examining market opportunities and tailoring products and services to customer needs
  • Set and achieve branch sales objectives, including revenue, gross margin, and monthly quotas
  • Advise on pricing strategies to meet margin expectations while gaining large volume or new accounts
  • Communicate proactively with Branch Management regarding customer relationships and expectations
  • Collaborate with Branch employees and provide feedback on products, services, and market conditions
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and product meetings as appropriate
  • Create a weekly travel and call schedule with Branch Management
What you will bring:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of profitable sales and cold-calling, preferably in waterworks wholesale distribution
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and targets
  • Deadline-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong independent work skills to manage territory and accounts efficiently
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Highly organized with excellent prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to commute to client locations
