A Canadian heavy equipment dealership is seeking a Parts Outside Sales Representative to sell parts for various machinery across Ontario. This is a field-based role, focusing on new business development and account management. The position offers a base salary of $81,000 plus a prepaid commission. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably with a background in construction or waste equipment.
As a Parts Outside Sales Representative, you will be selling parts for aggregate crushing, wood grinding, screening, and waste shredding equipment to industrial customers across Ontario. You'll focus primarily on outbound prospecting and transactional sales, targeting operational personnel such as site foremen, mechanics, and maintenance managers. Approximately 75% of your sales activity will focus on new business development, with the remaining 25% on account management. About 25% of your leads will be warm, while the rest must be self-generated. This role offers a base salary of $81,000, along with a prepaid commission of $39,000 in the first year, bringing the guaranteed first-year OTE to $120,000. It also includes a company-provided vehicle and additional perks.
