We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support and optimize a high-volume Oracle database (PRISM) and contribute to the database strategy for its future cloud-based replacement. This role involves performance tuning, collaboration with architects and engineers, and acting as the database subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will bring deep Oracle expertise along with a proactive mindset toward learning and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to deliver database performance tuning and optimization for the PRISM Oracle database.
• Assist in the design and implementation of the cloud-based replacement strategy for PRISM.
• Partner with software engineers to ensure performant database code execution.
• Help analysts trace data flows through complex system architectures.
• Support ongoing database maintenance in collaboration with other IT teams.
• Contribute to documentation efforts for database processes and configurations.
• Serve as the team’s database subject matter expert across Oracle and related technologies.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a focus on performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL and database tuning tools.
• Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt technical detail to various audiences.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to incorporating security in all job responsibilities.
• Willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies.

Preferred Skills:
