Our solis optics Lloydminster - 44 Street location is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as an Optical Associate!

If you have passion for style and helping customers find their perfect fit, as well as experience in retail customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

This position is a casual role working 0-19 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality
  • Informing patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client's aesthetic and performance needs
  • Interpreting optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist
  • Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning patients'
  • Placing Contact Lens orders and assisting with fittings
  • Communicating with patients in person, by phone, and by email
  • Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties
  • Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts and billing and payments
  • Warmly greeting patients as they enter our clinic
  • Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills
