Position: Temporary Position - Operations Manager - Salaried
Location: Sarnia Branch
Shift Timing: 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Job Description
- Assist in developing, implementing, and executing projects with an emphasis on long-term strategic planning and thorough collaboration with team members.
- Work closely with Directors, Executive Vice President, and other departments.
- Communicate and advise the People & Culture team & Labour Relations Manager on union grievances.
- Lead the re-launch and prioritization of Paladin\'s special coverage portfolio of business including related inside sales opportunities.
- Carry out routine critical gap analysis of security programs to detect deficiencies and liabilities.
- Interpret KPI reports and implement operational adjustments.
Qualifications
- Managerial experience with a demonstrated history of progressive management responsibilities.
- Experience with managing security programs, operational and scheduling coordination.
- Experience in security account management best practices, general property management, and call center support services; a professional security or property management designation is an asset.
- Well-defined business acumen, including definable experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and large-scale team management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
- Must have a reliable working vehicle.
- Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and provincial / national standards on fire safety, security, and protection of privacy.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Education Requirements
- College / University Education
- Post-secondary Education in Business Administration, or equivalent
- Previous managerial / supervisory experience
