Position: Temporary Position - Operations Manager - Salaried

Location: Sarnia Branch

Shift Timing: 8:30AM to 4:30PM

Job Description
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and executing projects with an emphasis on long-term strategic planning and thorough collaboration with team members.
  • Work closely with Directors, Executive Vice President, and other departments.
  • Communicate and advise the People & Culture team & Labour Relations Manager on union grievances.
  • Lead the re-launch and prioritization of Paladin\'s special coverage portfolio of business including related inside sales opportunities.
  • Carry out routine critical gap analysis of security programs to detect deficiencies and liabilities.
  • Interpret KPI reports and implement operational adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Managerial experience with a demonstrated history of progressive management responsibilities.
  • Experience with managing security programs, operational and scheduling coordination.
  • Experience in security account management best practices, general property management, and call center support services; a professional security or property management designation is an asset.
  • Well-defined business acumen, including definable experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and large-scale team management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle.
  • Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and provincial / national standards on fire safety, security, and protection of privacy.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

  • Previous managerial / supervisory experience
