作為一名 VAS(加值服務)營運工程師,您將負責在 AppLogic Network 主要客戶的生產環境中,執行日常營運與監控任務,確保加值服務(VAS)系統穩定運作、快速回應並持續優化。您將在高可用性架構下工作,專注於主動事件偵測、初步故障分級與協調解決流程。若問題超出技術範圍,您將與內部支援或工程團隊協作,並在整個問題處理期間,維持與客戶清晰、即時的溝通。

主要工作內容
  • 與客戶網路營運部門協作,負責部署、維護、管理及日常營運工作
  • 診斷並排除 AppLogic Network 設備或系統異常
  • 提出系統設定變更建議並協助執行
  • 為 AppLogic Network 所有設備與解決方案進行軟體維護與更新
  • 主動監控系統健康度、KPI、日誌及警示,於異常發生時即時處理
  • 遵守客戶變更管理與維護時段(maintenance window)作業流程
  • 使用分析工具(如流量分析器、模擬器、流量檢測器、MRTG、PRTG、SNMP 輪詢、系統紀錄等)進行流量監控與問題排除
  • 主導跨部門分析與技術討論,以預防問題重現
  • 依需求提交與升級案件至二線(L2)支援團隊
  • 負責案件管理與追蹤,確保問題妥善解決並提升客戶滿意度
  • 提供顧問式支援與指導資淺同仁
  • 積極參與品質審查及團隊持續改進
任職資格
基本條件
  • 資訊科學、工程或其他 STEM 相關學系學士學位
  • 五年以上相關工作經驗
  • 中文母語等級,具專業英文閱讀與書寫能力
必要技能
  • 精通 Unix/Linux 系統操作
  • 熟悉虛擬化技術(如 VMware、KVM)、OpenStack 部署及自動化工具(如 Ansible)
  • 熟悉雲端架構(AWS、Google Cloud)、容器與編排概念(Kubernetes、Swarm),及相關工具(Docker、Jenkins)
  • 熟悉虛擬化概念,如 NUMA、SR-IOV、PCI 直通(PCI Passthrough)、Virtio
  • 深入理解 NFV(網路功能虛擬化)與 MANO/ONAP 架構
  • 具備程式或腳本語言能力(Python、Perl 等)
  • 熟悉 Web 技術(JavaScript、HTML5、HTTP、Angular)
  • 具備現代 Web 應用開發經驗(Ajax、REST API 佳)

About the role

As a VAS Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for executing daily operational and monitoring tasks within the production environments of key AppLogic Network customers. You will support the delivery of value-added services (VAS), ensuring stability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement of deployed solutions. Operating within a high-availability infrastructure, your role will focus on proactive incident detection, initial triage, and coordination of resolution workflows. For issues outside your technical scope, you will collaborate with internal support or engineering teams, while maintaining clear and timely communication with customers throughout the resolution lifecycle.

What you’ll do
  • Work with Customer Network Operations for deployment, maintenance, administration and operational tasks
  • Diagnose AppLogic Network’s equipment failures
  • Recommend configuration changes and assist with implementations
  • General services as required including installation of software maintenance updates for all AppLogic Network’s devices and solutions
  • Proactive health monitoring of software/hardware issues, Daily monitoring of system health, KPIs, logs, alarms with a sense of urgency when issues arise
  • Work within customers change management and maintenance window guidelines
  • Analyze & troubleshoot critical Applications traffic and detect problems through the use of essential software tools (traffic sniffers, simulators, traffic detection, MRTG, PRTG, SNMP polling, logs)
  • Lead the analysis/discussion with other departments in order to solve and prevent issues
  • Submitting and escalation of issues into L2 support as needed
  • Accountability for Case management and ensuring that they are resolved
  • Providing consultative support and mentor other less experienced team members
  • Positive contribution towards quality reviews for other colleagues and peers
What you bring
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or another STEM program
  • 5+ years of applicable experience
  • Native level proficiency in Chinese Mandarin
Required Qualifications
  • Commanding knowledge of Unix based operating systems such as Linux
  • Proven experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM), deployment of OpenStack and experience with automation tools like Ansible
  • Familiar with cloud architecture (AWS, Google cloud), containers and orchestration concepts (Kubernetes, swarm) and tools like Docker, Jenkins.
  • Proven Experience in virtual concepts like: NUMA, SRIOV, PCI-Passthrough, Virtio
  • Good understanding of NFV particularly around MANO/ONAMP
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as python, Perl etc.
  • Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, HTTP, Angular)
  • Experience with modern web applications using Ajax and REST API’s will be advantageous
  • Experience of data modelling, DB administration, Vertica, SQL/PostgreSQL
  • Experience with SQL databases, network traffic monitoring in a Telecom, ISP, or Cable Internet environment
