Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond, is hiring for an On Call/ Seasonal Event Coordinator (and Event Assistants), Bilingual English/ Mandarin ideally as this is for event leading to Chinese New Year Celebrations at Richmond and Vancouver Mall. Besides other dates to be arranged, the candidate must be able to work/ coordinate Feb 21, 22, 27, 28 at one or both malls with Manager, assistant, and volunteer support. Assistants only need to be available for 3 or 4 of the above dates.

Responsibilities (but may have other additional duties):
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Co/ Employer's Team to plan & execute workshops and performances.
  • Manage all aspects of pre-event, event set‑up, on‑site execution, and post‑event follow up to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
  • Lead and support workshops by guiding participants, maintaining flow and engagement, and ensuring crowd management throughout.
  • Coordinate with mall management, performers, and the Client Co/ Employer's Team.
Additional requirement:

A site visit must be conducted at both malls during the week of the 15th of December. The Event Coordinator may select their preferred date(s) and to provide team with a list of available options by December 10th to share with the client. Each mall visit is expected to take approximately 2 hours, with a total site visit duration of up to 5 hours include commute time between the malls.

Coordinator $22/ hour + 4% vacation = $22.88

Assistant $20/ hour + 4% vacation = $20.80
