In This Position, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Define strategic OHS objectives in collaboration with the OHS Management Committee, issue recommendations, and ensure the implementation of the action plans determined
  • As part of the prevention program rollout: draft new procedures, implement new practices, monitor and audit them
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the OHS committee
  • Participate in risk assessments and ergonomic analyses of equipment and workplaces
  • Support the various teams in investigating and analyzing accidents in order to identify root causes, corrective actions, and appropriate follow-up
  • Coordinate health and safety training
  • Collaborate with the HR team on various mandates, including staffing, event organization, labor relations, organizational development, etc.

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management combined with a certificate in health and safety or related training
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in occupational health and safety management
  • Ability to take a stand and clearly communicate your direction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Structured, organized, and thorough mindset
  • Agile and comfortable with change
  • Strong coaching skills and enjoy working in a team
  • Excellent French, functional English to communicate with English-speaking employees
