Job Description
Summary

The Office Relocation & Decommissioning Project Manager leads a team to deliver relocation, furniture installation, and decommissioning services for clients. They support resource planning, project scheduling, and ensure adherence to processes and continuous improvement. The role involves strategic project support and senior-level collaboration.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
People Leadership
  • Provide strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, and performance management to team members.
  • Participate in recruiting talent and recommend compensation adjustments.
Service Delivery
  • Manage planning and execution of relocation, furniture installation, and decommissioning projects.
  • Develop strategies and schedules considering client requirements.
  • Ensure project delivery within scope, time, budget, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on schedules, budgets, and project progress.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and act as workstream lead on complex projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success.
  • Manage health & safety risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and project success.
Reporting & Communication
  • Ensure timely and quality project deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
Financial Management
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and monitor project budgets and procurement.
Service Development & Quality
  • Work with leadership to improve service delivery processes and tools.
Business Development
  • Support client satisfaction and explore opportunities for repeat business.
Knowledge & Skills
  • 5+ years experience in moves, facility projects, or related fields.
  • Leadership and customer service skills.
  • Strategic thinking and project coordination expertise.
  • Furniture systems knowledge and team management experience.
  • Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Business development and proposal writing skills.
  • Ability to meet security clearance requirements.
Licenses & Accreditation
  • PMP or FMP preferred.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $73,600 - $92,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
