Work Hour: 30 hours per week

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Managerto oversee the daily operations of the Registrar’s Office and support the effective delivery of academic administration services.

This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate student records, managing office workflows, supervising support staff, and ensuring the smooth coordination of registration and academic processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic educational environment, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and oversee the administrative functions of the Registrar’s Office to support registration, academic records management, and student services.

2. Manage and delegate tasks to office staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to institutional policies and procedures.

3. Assemble data and prepare reports, correspondence, manuals, and special documentation related to academic administration and student records.

4. Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures concerning the release of records, in compliance with access to information and privacy legislation.

5. Oversee data entry processes, maintaining accuracy in the student information system and ensuring timely updates of student records.

6. Set up and manage term details, course sections, and registration information within the student information system, preparing for academic registration periods.

7. Support the preparation of reports for internal use, government reporting, and special projects.

8. Collaborate with academic departments to support course scheduling, registration processes, and academic records maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. Post-secondary education in office administration, business management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration, preferably within a post-secondary or academic environment.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management systems.

4. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
