Job summary

A logistics company in Vaudreuil-Dorion is looking for an Administrative Officer to manage office procedures, review administrative processes, and ensure compliance with deadlines. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience, a college diploma, and familiarity with MS Office tools. This is a full-time position with no remote work option.

Qualifications

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
  • Must complete work at the physical location with no remote option.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record release and privacy legislation.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation and supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures

  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co‑ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Oversee and co‑ordinate office administrative procedures
