Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience working in a nuclear setting.
• Must have valid site security clearance or the ability to obtain it.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead/participate in pre-job briefings on safety aspects.
• Provide radiation protection services to staff.
• Conduct radiation surveys and document findings.
• Perform sorting of low-level nuclear by-products.
• Ensure proper radiation and contamination controls.
• Coach personnel on appropriate radiation protection use.

Skills

Physical ability to routinely lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Ability to work shifts

Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW) designation

Education

High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Specialized Training/Experience in Radiation Protection
