About the Role

We are seeking experienced nuclear operations professionals with prior OPG Pickering B qualifications to support ongoing operations activities at Ontario Power Generation (OPG). This opportunity is ideal for retired OPG operators or security-cleared professionals looking to re-engage with the industry in a flexible, part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational expertise and support to OPG’s Pickering B station.

  • Leverage prior control room and plant operations experience to guide and mentor current staff.

  • Support operational assessments, reviews, and compliance activities as needed.

  • Assist with knowledge transfer and operational continuity initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to OPG and CNSC standards, regulations, and safety practices.

Qualifications
  • Previous OPG Nuclear Operator experience at Pickering (PN or DN background accepted).

  • Must hold or be eligible for OPG Security Clearance.

  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear station operations, safety procedures, and compliance standards.

  • Strong problem-solving, mentorship, and communication skills.

  • Retired or former OPG staff with Pickering B qualifications are highly encouraged to apply.
