The Centre d'Essais Techniques (MER) (CETM) is the main Maritime testing and evaluation center for the National Defense. CETM provides a range of multidisciplinary technical testing services, including non-destructive testing to ensure asset protection. CETM is an establishment of the Department of National Defence (DND) and has been managed by Weir Canada Inc. on behalf of the Government of Canada since 1953. More than 400 people currently work for Weir at CETM or with clients, fulfilling mandates from the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and DND in a wide variety of technical fields.
Purpose of Role : As a non-destructive testing (NDT) specialist, you will be called upon to support inspection activities for naval vessels located mainly in Montreal, Halifax and Victoria.
