Are you interested in an entry level position at a trailer shop where you’ll gain work experience and learn a trade?

Looking for an apprenticeship as a Welder or Truck and Trailer Technician ?

Tallman Group has immediate vacancies for full time New Trailer Fabricators/Installation Technicians for our trailer facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

Job duties/Responsibilities:

• Technicians will install air systems, electrical systems and hydraulics on dump trailers.
• Welding.
• General Labourer.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• General mechanical interest and knowledge.
• Some trailer knowledge is an asset but not required – we will train.
• Technicians with years of experience but not licensed are encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with power tools (drill, impact gun, grinder).
• Committed to working safely, using protective clothing and equipment (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work 5 days weekly (Monday to Friday) for a regular 40 hour work week.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Driver's Abstract
