An integrated energy company is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to partake in a three-year rotational program across various business areas. Candidates must possess a relevant engineering degree and be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role offers invaluable experience and opportunities for professional growth, with relocations possible based on business needs.

Cenovus New Grad Program aims to attract develop and retain exceptional new grads to build a top talent pipeline for the company. The program provides new grads with a broad understanding of Cenovus core business through challenging work assignments training and development field exposure and the opportunity to develop a large network of contacts through networking and mentorship opportunities.
Our program consists of three consecutive 12-month rotational assignments that span Cenovus varied business areas. Upon completion of the three-year program you will be matched to a permanent role within the organization. This role will be based on business need and relocation may be required.

All rotations and your final placement upon graduating from the New Grad Program will be located in St. Johns, NL. While the intention is to keep your full program experience based in St. Johns, there may be business needs or development opportunities that require rotating to another location.

Some EIT rotations are safety sensitive positions. Those positions may require a Class 5 driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and adherence to Cenovus policies and guidelines. If selected for a safety sensitive location a driver’s abstract will be requested prior to the commencement of that position. If your rotation location/role is safety sensitive, final employment will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
If you will need to relocate for your first rotation/home location, relocation support will be provided as per Cenovus internal policies.
