Job summary

A leading technology staffing firm is seeking a Network Test Software Developer to work in Vaughan, Ontario. The successful candidate will develop software test automation scripts for network devices and perform extensive testing on IP routers and Ethernet switches. A minimum of 5 years in product development, specific experience with networking technologies, and strong programming skills in Perl, C++, or Java are essential. This contract role will last from December 15, 2025, to December 14, 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a Product Development environment, primarily in industrial communication.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
• Experience in configuring Routers, Switches and Firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Develop software test automation scripts for switches and routers.
• Perform functional stress performance and interoperability testing.
• Develop and execute product feature specification test plans.
