A major wholesale distributor in Canada is looking for a National Sales Manager - Valves to lead their national valve team. Responsibilities include setting strategic directions, mentoring, and building relationships with key accounts. Candidates should have significant sales experience and a strong management background. Job Description As the National Sales Manager - Valves, you will be responsible for leading the national valve team and setting the strategic direction for the division. You will work closely with our Profit Centre Managers across the country to secure projects and MRO accounts.
Additional duties will include:
College and/or University degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the wholesale distribution or manufacturing industry, with a focus on valves or related industrial products
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a successful sales team
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
Driven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make sound business judgments
Strong desire to strive for operational excellence
Ability to travel nationally as required
