Purpose:
This role is responsible for the strategic leadership and overall performance of the Aesthetics & Reconstruction business within Canada, with a primary focus on sales, customer experience, and operational excellence. This role requires a visionary leader capable of inspiring teams, cultivating strategic partnerships, and executing business plans that drive sustainable growth and market share expansion, all in alignment with J&J’s Credo values and healthcare compliance standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership & Business Performance: Develop, communicate, and execute comprehensive business and revenue growth strategies. Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, setting clear goals for teams and ensuring results are delivered on quarterly, annual, and long-term basis. Oversee P&L management, budget allocations, and resource prioritization to optimize profitability and growth.
- Sales & Market Expansion: Lead and oversee the sales organization to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets. Foster a high-performance culture through effective coaching, mentoring, and talent development. Drive market share growth by identifying opportunities, shaping market strategies, and leading efforts on tenders, RFPs, and strategic customer engagements.
- Team Development & Talent Management: Enabling their success through coaching during field visits, ongoing dialogue and candid performance feedback.
- Build and maintain a sustainable talent pipeline by recruiting top talent, developing leadership capabilities, and planning succession. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity through talent and performance management.
- Customer & Partner Relationships: Cultivate strong, strategic relationships with key customers, payors, and industry stakeholders. Manage complex and demanding customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service, contract compliance, and mutual value creation. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment, contract compliance, and mutual value creation. Develop insights into customer needs and market dynamics to inform strategy and product offerings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster seamless collaboration across Marketing, Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Medical Affairs, Professional and Commercial Education, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Support functions. Ensure integrated execution of business plans, adherence to Healthcare Compliance guidelines, and optimized resource utilization.
- Marketing & Digital Transformation: Champion the adoption of digital-first strategies, including digital marketing, social media engagement, and data analytics, to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and operational insights.
- Market Intelligence & Innovation: Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions, shape innovative solutions, and create value-added offerings for customers.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely and efficient shipment of products. Support the coordination of logistics operations, address any issues that may impact delivery schedules, and work to minimize disruptions to meet customer expectations and maintain high service levels.
- Oversee the execution of marketing, sales, and educational initiatives with strict adherence to Healthcare Compliance standards. Ensure all activities align with legal and ethical standards and internal policies.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly review sales metrics, market trends, and operational KPIs. Share insights with senior leadership and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantage and drive continuous improvement.
- Review and manage portfolio relative to market demand to optimize resource allocation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree in Business/Marketing, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of business experience is required.
- Bilingual in English and French preferred.
- Proven experience in medical device or healthcare sector, with strong understanding of hospital/private clinic environments is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving growth targets, gaining market share, and executing strategic initiatives. Experience in managing full P&L is preferred.
- Expertise in surgical and aesthetic sales, with established relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs) is preferred.
- Formal sales training experience, people development skills, territory planning, customer call planning is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong financial acumen and operational discipline.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Valid driver's license issued in Canada.
- May require business travel up to 40%, which may include overnight and weekend commitments.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $106,000 to $184,000 CAD.
