Job description

As a National Corporate Security Manager, you will play a pivotal role in protecting PwC Canada from physical security threats by overseeing robust risk assessment programs, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, and enabling business operations through practical security solutions. You will lead the development and implementation of policies, training, and reporting that enhance the firm’s resilience and preparedness.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Security Threat and Risk Program, systematically identifying security risks and recommending cost‑effective remediation strategies.
  • Align risk assessment methodology and guidance to Network Standards, execute assessments, and act on results.
  • Respond to third‑party engagement/client security assessments.
  • Develop and maintain security‑related policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Establish and oversee a quality assurance program to monitor and enhance security program effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports, gathering key metrics to monitor program growth and resilience.
  • Inform leadership of trends, emerging threats, and mitigation recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor public and social platforms for physical/life safety threats, reputational risks, and emerging trends near firm assets.
  • Lead training initiatives, educating staff on security risks and building awareness across the firm.
  • Assist with investigations, emergency management planning, international travel reviews, and special security projects as required.
Experiences and Skills
  • Ample hands‑on experience in physical security management and Security Threat and Risk Assessment Methodology.
  • Advanced understanding of physical security concepts, technologies, and business continuity management.
  • Technical knowledge in developing and enhancing operational reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI for workflow automation, process optimization, and data visualization.
  • Competence in policy and standard writing.
  • Experience in leading investigations and conducting interviews.
  • Excellent discretion, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to perform effectively in challenging situations.
  • Security‑industry related diploma or degree, and certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CPTED are an asset.
  • When applying to a Quebec‑based opportunity, fluency in French is required; outside Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.
