Overview

We’re a warm family in Bedford, NS, seeking a caring, experienced nanny for our 6-year-old daughter, Sarah. Sarah is joyful, emotionally intelligent, and bright. She has clear pronunciation but struggles to express full thoughts due to a speech delay (Gestalt language processing). We’re looking for someone to support her expressive language through daily play and conversation—not therapy. Sarah attends primary school.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily play and conversation to support expressive language
• Engage with Sarah in a patient, emotionally attuned manner
• Support light routines and play-based learning
• Coordinate with Sarah’s therapy team as needed
