Overview

The London District Catholic School Board is currently accepting applications for: Music Teachers, Permanent & Occasional Teaching positions, multiple locations available.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Primary / Junior / and / or Intermediate qualifications required
• Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
• Have a working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
• Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate or equivalent, or proof of initiation into the Roman Catholic Church
• A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
• Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
• Current understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
• Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students
