Mobile Product Designer

We’re looking for a Mobile Product Designer to join our team of humble “misfits that fit”.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Procurify is seeking a Mobile Product Designer with experience in shaping mobile apps through user research, prototyping, user experience, and interaction design for iOS and Android platforms.

You are skilled at understanding customer needs, even unarticulated ones, to build mobile products that users love.

What you’ll be working on

1. Identify key business problems and deliver solutions with measurable outcomes.
2. Create diagrams, user journeys, and mockups for different user segments.
3. Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for iOS and Android.
4. Collaborate with our mobile engineering team lead and product manager to define a mobile product vision.
5. Be an advocate for our customers across the company.
6. Gather user data through surveys, interviews, usability testing, and analysis.
7. Analyze app usage data to gain insights into user behavior and trends.
8. Maintain and apply a mobile design system to ensure consistency.
9. Benchmark against industry-leading mobile experiences.
10. Use metrics to inform design decisions and measure success.
11. Collaborate with developers and product managers to implement solutions.
12. Contribute to design team rituals and culture.
13. Recommend industry best practices and tools for mobile design.
14. Participate in annual hackathons and fintech innovation initiatives.

Who we’re looking for

• 3+ years designing mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Experience applying UX and UI best practices for high-quality mobile experiences.
• Understanding of platform guidelines (Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, Google’s Material Design).
• Experience creating and maintaining mobile design systems considering principles, patterns, and conventions.
• Strong understanding of mobile capabilities and limitations.
• Experience using research and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving and visually rich interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Experience prototyping and testing mobile interactions.
• Humility combined with strong, loosely held opinions.
