Our plant manufactures the high strength engineered wood product Timberstrand® in 24/7 operations in a non‑union manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
  • Preform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic system and components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Use SAP for Materials and Work Order Management.
  • Basic welding and fabrication.
  • Coordinate contractor activities as required.
  • Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner.
  • Complete all jobs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical Trades Qualification in an applicable discipline (must be certified in a mechanical trade).
  • 3–5 years in an industrial environment would be an asset.
  • Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule that includes both days and nights, 12‑hour continuous shifts.
  • The successful applicant will be provided with training and support.
