Overview
The Messer Table Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of the Messer Table. Working hours will be as per the Collective Agreement.
Qualifications
- Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as being self-motivated to be able to work without supervision when required.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Responsibilities
- Operators using the Messer Table should have a general knowledge of CNC programming & cutting procedures.
- Wear company issued coveralls and/or work wear and all assigned Personal Protective Equipment.
- Work safely.
- You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job.
- A pre-employment physical is required.
- A background check will be performed by the Company.
Training
- In-house training will be given and is expected to take 2-4 weeks.
- For training purposes, any new employee being trained must have supervised training with an experienced Messer Table operator until competent in operation.
